Worker Seriously Injured in Fall Off Building in Midtown: FDNY

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A worker has fallen off a building in Midtown, and a rescue is currently underway, according to the FDNY.

The man, either a construction worker or a window washer, fell from a height at 110 W. 38th St. at 9:53 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the FDNY, the worker was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is in serious condition. They were unsure of what height the worker fell from, but the victim fell onto scaffolding around the building, the FDNY said.
