A Midtown manhole explosion knocked out power in one building Tuesday morning and disrupted the start of the work day.

The blast, at just past 9:30 a.m., apparently left no one injured, and no one became trapped in elevators, authorities said.

But it drew investigators from Con Edison and the Fire Department, and inconvenienced workers and businesses.

The Fire Department said there were no elevated carbon monoxide readings in the building at 266 W. 37th St. or in the surrounding area.

“I’m a little inconvenienced because I had a meeting to go to,” said Robin Kozicka, who works for a human resources group. “But I understand their concerns about safety and they have to do what they have to do.”

A Con Ed spokeswoman said power to the blacked out building was expected to be restored by early evening.
