7 Suffer Minor Injuries in Queens Fire

NEW YORK — Fire officials say two firefighters and five other people sustained minor injuries in an overnight fire at a home in Queens.

A fire department spokesman says the fire at the 2-story private house in Ozone Park erupted at 3:17 a.m. Tuesday.

The fire was on the first floor of the 105th Street dwelling.

Five civilians were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Two firefighters also were injured; one went to the hospital.

The fire was brought under control at 4:27 a.m.
