A two-alarm fire roared through a central Harlem apartment building Monday morning, causing damage to nearly 10 apartments, authorities said.

The fire began just before 9 a.m. in the laundry room at 26 E. 129th St., where authorities said the flames traveled through a laundry shaft.

More than 100 firefighters responded. Two of them were treated for minor injuries at New York Hospital, according to authorities.

No other injuries were reported.

The nearly 10 apartment units were seriously damaged in the blaze, and authorities say they are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
