MIDTOWN — Two window washers were rescued after getting stuck on the 35th floor of a Third Avenue high-rise building on Monday, officials said.

The workmen were trapped outside the 35th floor of 900 Third Ave. near East 54th Street, after an apparent equipment malfunction around 11:50 a.m., according to the Fire Department.

Rescue workers from the FDNY and NYPD ultimately pulled them to safety about 30 minutes later, officials said.

“Glass was cut,” FDNY spokesman Danny Glover said. “They were brought inside, evaluated upstairs.”

The workers refused medical attention at the scene.
