He was believed to be in his 40s. and Port Authority officials said that he plunged three stories onto the floor of the center hall. (Photo by Scott Roth/Invision/AP)(RNN) – A man was seriously injured after he fell from a balcony at the World Trade Center Oculus in New York Tuesday.
He was transported to the hospital in serious condition, according to the FDNY.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the man fell or jumped.
He was believed to be in his 40s. Port Authority officials said that he plunged three stories onto the floor of the center hall.
Witnesses described him as in very bad shape with multiple broken bones, according to Fox 5 NY.
In Feb, a woman fell 30 feet to her death from an escalator at the Oculus. She was a substitute teacher and was trying to grab her sister’s hat when she fell.
