Car Bursts Into Flames After Collision on Henry Hudson Parkway

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A car burst into flames Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on the Henry Hudson Parkway, witnesses and fire officials said.

Smoke was seen billowing from the highway in the vicinity of West 72nd Street. The fire broke out shortly before 12 p.m. and was under control within 45 minutes, an FDNY spokesman told Patch.

Nobody was injured during the collision or fire, an FDNY spokesman told Patch.
