FDNY Called to Manhattan Building After Residents Report Shaking
NBC 4 NY

Firefighters were called to a Manhattan building when worried residents reported feeling shaking and vibrating during a construction project nearby.

People living at 5 Columbus Circle called authorities to report feeling their building shake each time a construction crew at nearby 1776 Broadway poured concrete, neighbors said.

FDNY and Office of Emergency Management authorities set up a command post in the area as firefighters assessed the building to make sure it was safe.

Some subway trains in the area saw delays as authorities responded.
