CORONA — A firefighter was seriously injured battling a large blaze at a Junction Boulevard store, officials said.

The fire broke out at 4:11 p.m. at 32-03 Junction Blvd., near 32nd Avenue, according to the FDNY.

Dozens of firefighters fought the blaze, which was brought under control by 5:15 p.m., the fire department said.

The injured firefighter sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to the FDNY.

The cause of the fire was unknown.
