Pedestrian Critically Injured in Hit-And-Run on Broadway, FDNY Says

STATEN ISLAND — A pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run collision on Broadway Thursday evening, according to officials.

The driver hit the person at the intersection of Henderson Avenue and Broadway at about 5:47 p.m., fire and police officials said.

The victim was taken to Richmond University Medical Center in cardiac arrest.

There was no immediate information on the type of vehicle the person was driving.
