Debra Messing is grateful for New York’s bravest.

The 48-year-old “Will and Grace” star thanked the New York Fire Department for helping to stop the early-morning blaze that broke out next door to her Upper East Side apartment Tuesday.

“The brave men from the NYFD in my apartment fighting a roaring fire next door,” Messing captioned a photo on Instagram, which featured four firemen in a stairwell. “330am. Terrifying. Windows blown out. But Thank G everyone is ok. #welcomehome.”

The fire broke out in a million-dollar, 19th century Upper East Side mansion at about 2:25 a.m. Tuesday morning. No one was inside the home during the blaze, which began just as a snowstorm touched down in the city. An FDNY spokesman thanked Messing for her support.

Prior to the scary scene, Messing shared a photo with her “Will & Grace” co-stars Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes on Instagram last week. The gang, which Messing celebrated as being “reunited,” is set to reprise their roles for the revival of the beloved NBC sitcom. Filming for the 10-episode reboot is set to begin in July.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by FDNY Fire Marshals.
