The FDNY, in partnership with the FDNY Foundation, invites all first responders to the 5th annual Medical Special Operations Conference (MSOC).
Celebrating its 5th year, the FDNY Medical Special Operations Conference (MSOC) continues to serve as an important venue for military, federal, state and local medical operators and planners to share their experiences.
MSOC provides an opportunity for first responders to learn from other stakeholders to obtain insights from experts in the field on how to improve the response framework within the medical special operations community.
MSOC takes place at the FDNY Fire Academy and other locations in New York City. The conference will take place over four days and consists of workshops, lectures, panel discussions, hands-on skills stations, and a vendor showcase featuring the latest equipment and products.
New two day courses for 2017 are the NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) and Advanced Veterinary Care offered on May 4–5, 2017. An optional one day workshop is also available May 5, 2017. The pre-conference workshops will include a hands-on bio-skills cadaver lab, canine critical care workshop and a visit to the World Trade Center site.
