NEW YORK (WABC) — It was a week of horrible fires for New York and the FDNY.
A deadly house fire in Brooklyn killed 7 children last weekend.
And then Thursday afternoon – an enormous explosion in the East Village of Manhattan.
Firefighters rushed to both scenes, and leading them was the Commissioner of the FDNY, Daniel Nigro, who joins us this week.
We taped the interview on Thursday, just hours after the explosion.
