The former head of the city’s firefighters union faces DWI and drug charges after his car jumped a curb while he was intoxicated in Manhattan, police said.

The city police department said Wednesday that Steve Cassidy was driving in Midtown around 11:55 p.m. the night before, when he jumped a curb at 30th St. and 7th Ave.
