MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries Thursday after being struck by falling glass outside a 5-star Midtown hotel, officials said.
Emergency personnel arrived on the scene outside the Quin Hotel at 101 West 57th Street near Sixth Avenue around 11:30, an FDNY spokesman said. The person who was struck by the falling glass was transported to Bellevue hospital and about 60 firefighters worked to secure the area for civilians and hotel workers, an FDNY spokesman said.
