A gas explosion ripped through a Brooklyn apartment Saturday, injuring four people, one seriously, officials said.

The blast blew out a window and set off a small fire inside the second-floor apartment on Bay 49th St. near Cropsey Ave. in Bath Beach about 8:15 a.m.

Four tenants — all immigrants from Guatemala — were in the apartment during the blast.

Medics took one of them, 41-year-old Juan Carlos Baquaix, to Staten Island University Hospital North with serious injuries to his legs, police sources said.

He remained in the hospital’s burn unit Saturday.

His roommates suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention, officials said.

“I’m good, we are good,” Baquaix’s roommate Rafael Rosales, 39, told the Daily News.
