Bushwick Fire: Multi-Family Home Sets Ablaze

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A fire broke out in a multi-family home in Bushwick late Monday morning, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch. The building affected was at 898 Bushwick Ave. near Harmon Avenue, the spokesperson said. The call came in to the FDNY at 11:37 a.m. The spokesperson did not yet have information about the state of the fire or whether there were any injuries.

The quaint, historic home was built in 1899, according to property records. It was bought by JPMorgan Chase bank at the beginning of 2015, public city records show.
