“Hello, Mighty, it’s the 32nd annual ‘Battle of the Badges’ on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Madison Square Garden. There are 12 exciting bouts scheduled between the FDNY Bravest Boxing team and the NYPD Fighting Finest.
“As always, The FDNY team will donate their share of the proceeds to a veteran in need. This year we will help build a new mortgage-free, handicap-accessible home for Corp. Jessie Murphree, who lost both legs and suffered a traumatic brain injury when his Humvee struck an anti tank mine in Afghanistan.
“Plus in an effort to show our deep appreciation for all members of our military we will be giving away 1,000 free tickets to any active member interested. They simply need to show their military ID at the box office on the day of the event and they will receive a free ticket.
