Fire Erupts in 7th Ave Sushi Restaurant, FDNY Says

CHELSEA, NY — A fire erupted in a Chelsea sushi restaurant during rush hour Thursday morning, said the FDNY.

Firefighters rushed to Dake Sushi at 348 Seventh Ave. near West 29th Street at about 7:40 a.m. to battle a fire in the eatery, according to an FDNY spokesman.

The blaze had been put out by 8:15 a.m. and no injuries were immediately reported, the spokesman said.
