Drowning man pulled from Brooklyn waters dies in hospital

A drowning man pulled from Brooklyn waters Sunday later died at a hospital, police said.

Emergency responders rushed to a Mill Basin dock, behind Kings Plaza, at about 2:50 p.m. for the reported drowning, according to authorities.

t wasn’t immediately clear why the 55-year-old man, who was wearing only black shorts, was in the water.

When the FDNY members arrived, they fastened a carabiner with a rope to the back of a firefighter’s red wetsuit, and the firefighter jumped into the water.
