A Bronx blaze claimed the life of an elderly woman Friday, police said.
Grace Carter, 94, was found on her bed inside her home on Ely Ave., near Pitman Ave. in Wakefield at 3:30 p.m.
She was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where she died, cops said.
The nonagenarian’s home health aid managed to escape the flames, police sources said.
Fire marshals are investigating what sparked the blaze.
