FDNY firefighter Michael Davidson died of smoke inhalation while battling a five-alarm fire in Harlem last week, the city’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner said on Monday.

Funeral arrangements are underway for Davidson, 37, with a Mass planned for Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan.

The cause of the fire, which broke out around 11 p.m. at 773 St. Nicholas Ave. on Thursday, remains under investigation, per the FDNY.

The charred remains of the building were expected to be demolished due to significant fire damage, according to the Department of Buildings. When the building will be demolished will be determined by the building’s owner, a spokesman for the DOB said.
