Firefighters battle a blaze at a four-story building in Hell’s Kitchen.

A person was seriously injured after a raging fire broke out in a Manhattan home, firefighters say.The flames broke out around 1:30 Monday morning on the second floor of the four-story building in Hell’s Kitchen, the FDNY said.

Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames, but officials said one person was had to be taken to an area hospital for serious injuries.
Video from the scene shows firefighters and a ladder stretching up several floors and some of the building’s windows broken.
