FDNY EMT killed in hit-and-run on Kosciuszko Bridge

QUEENS — An FDNY EMT was killed in a hit-and-run on the new Kosciuszko Bridge, officials said.

It happened Saturday evening just before 7 p.m.

Police said 27-year-old Kevin Liang of Brookyln was on his motorcycle going eastbound on the Kosciuszko Bridge when he crashed into another vehicle when it tried to change lanes, police said.

Liang lost control and fell into the pavement. The vehicle, described as a dark sedan, fled the scene, according to police.

Liang was take to the hospital where he died.

The investigation is ongoing.
