The FDNY squared off against the LAPD for the National Championship in football last Saturday at Aviation Field in Brooklyn. So who won? “Hi Mighty, the FDNY Bravest are National Champions for 2017 of the NPSFL (National Public Safety Football League). Their 27-10 victory over LAPD Centurions was a dominating performance on both sides of the ball.

“Congratulations to Head Coach John Rosati, Assistant Head Coach Steve Orr and their coaching staff. The FDNY offense totaled 357 yards. The offense was led by game MVP RB Stephen Holliday and QB Ryan Davan. On defense the Bravest had outstanding play by team captain LB Mike McPartland and LB Sam Murray.

“Pudgie Walsh (former head coach) is looking down on us from above with a big old grin for the undefeated season (6-0) in 2017. Best Always.” — Mike Hyland, Bravest Football Alumni President.
