Worker Critically Injured in Fall From Ladder in East Harlem, FDNY Says

MANHATTAN — A worker suffered critical injuries in a fall from a ladder at an East Harlem building Wednesday morning, officials said.

The worker, who wasn’t immediately identified, fell inside 225 E. 126th St., near Third Avenue, about 8:53 a.m., an FDNY spokeswoman said.

The individual was treated at Harlem Hospital and listed in critical condition, officials said.

The Department of Buildings was called to the scene, according to its website.
