FDNY-2 Families Displaced in Queens Fire FDNY

A fire in Queens has displaced two families, officials say.

Flames tore through multiple apartments at 69-01 Myrtle Ave. in Glendale Thursday night, according to fire officials.

The fire started in the basement and quickly spread to the first and second floors.

No residents were hurt, but two firefighters sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating a cause.
