FDNY adds 5 Staten Island firefighters to WTC Memorial Wall

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Twenty-one New York City firefighters who died of an illness related to their work at World Trade Center site after 9/11 were honored for their sacrifice on Tuesday.

The FDNY added the firefighters’ names, which included five Staten Islanders, to the World Trade Center Memorial Wall at FDNY headquarters in Brooklyn.
