A lucky cat is down to eight lives after FDNY firefighters rescued the frightened feline from a fast-moving fire in Brooklyn on Saturday. The two-alarm blaze started about 8:15 a.m. in a three-story building at 210 Skillman Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant and quickly spread to two adjoining homes.

No injuries or human rescues were reported by the fire officials, but the small black-and-white cat was saved from a third-floor window.
