A woman became trapped in a Queens blaze and died shortly after she desperately tried to call for help using a medical alert device she was wearing, police sources said.

Anoinette Natale, 64, lived alone in the apartment on 64th Avenue and 221st Street in Oakland Gardens.

Firefighters rushed to the scene at 12:05 p.m.

The fire was placed under control about half an hour later, but it was too late.

She was pronounced dead by EMS, authorities said.

It wasn’t immediately clear if she was bed-ridden or disabled but Natale was wearing the medical alert device and pressed it to alert authorities.

The Fire Marshal will determine the cause of the blaze but police do not believe there is any criminality involved.
